As per some requests...

Ok so some of you who have recently started following me have asked about my paintings.... so this post is to purely show you some of my work, let me know what you think?! :)

Mark will appreciate this post.

I started painting in 2006 when i was going through one of my horrible depressive times, i needed to find out outlet and it seems i found one with an artbrush. I havent painted since the start of this year... i struggle painting now.
Not all of them are paintings some of them are pastel sketches.

  2. I really like the skinny elephant piece. The Marilyn Manson one is good too, but it freaks me out :)

  10. Hi Ash, thanks for the comments on my blog. I LOVE Henry Rollins and if you lived closer I'm SURE we'd hang! Even though I am an old broad!!! I see that you are in to the whole pin-up girl thing too - did you read on my blog that I dressed up like Betty Page for a night while in Vegas?? hilarious. LOVED IT!! BTW, I'm also an art historian, and artist. Yep - lots in common!

  13. I'm responding to your post on my blog about portion sizes.

Breakfast I'm tighter and stick to liquids or mush :) Generally an 8 oz protein shake or a 4-6 oz yogurt

Lunch: 5 tiny meatballs with soy sauce or 6 oz. tuna salad

Snack: 6 crackers with Laughing Cow cheese

Dinner: 3 - 4 Potstickers or 4 oz ground hamburger with toppings (cheese/cottage cheese...)

Snack: Fat free pudding with lowfat Cool Whip

Those are my GOOD days! :) That being said, I ate out at Taco Bell (don't know if you have those) and ate a Burrito Supreme with NO problem. I also can eat (inhale) a small bag of
    movie popcorn with no problem.

I think it probably wouldn't hurt to get a small fill, but I'm doing okay without it. I also like not having the stress about getting stuck. I do fill the tightness if I eat too fast, but I have never (knock on wood) had anything close to a pb episode. I will see how I do the next few months. I know without the tighter restrition I do have to rely more on my willpower, but I'm willing. Now if I weigh the same come December you can slap me across the ocean. :)

The biggest thing for me is lots of small meals throughout the day so I always have something to look forward to. Slowly but surely.

  15. Very talented girl...and you need to find inspiration again to continue this year!....I am not into art at all, but you know when you look at a painting and really like it...well I know what I like when I see it....does that make sense? Anyway, the point is, I love your paintings! I tend to do alot of portrait photography when I travel...local people and culture...so I can see why I am drawn to yours!
