Bring Your Own Craziness. Every Friday Drazil posts 5 questions and you can choose to answer them in your own blog. I haven't done it yet but you will see a lot of BYOC!
lol Hiya So Kerri answered the BYOC question: you're all sussed now. I saw your question about what I eat now? Hmm. What I eat now is pretty much anything but in much, much smaller proportions. I do tend to avoid dry chicken though(needs a sauce of some sort or to be mixed through with another recipe) and I can't eat nori rolls anymore either.. big sigh. Other than that, everything is fair game. What I did for you was go back into my old posts and have a hunt around for things I used to eat when I was first on solids and for the months after. So.... if you go to my archive and find Jan 2010 with these dates: 11, 12, 15, 21, and 22, and back even further to August 7 where I have a recipe for a pancake that is great and full of protein to eat, you should get some idea. I hope these help a little - it was easier than me trying to list everything lol.
Another thing I ate a lot of in the early days when first on solids was smoked salmon, a poached or fried egg with a bit of sour cream on the side. My nutritionist said I was taking in too much protein (eggs and salmon) at once, but blahh, I loved it and continued to eat it and all was good. I also loved weetbix and cruskits. Hope this helps some: I know it can be a confusing time when first starting off. Any more questions, you know where I am and I'm always happy to help and hey, if you're here in Perth, maybe we could meet one day. That would be awesome!! Hey, I am a new follower... I just found you. You are doing great and the first month is pretty hard to get thru... Well, that's behind you now. I was banded on March 23rd, 2010. I look forward to continuing to read your journey. *Maria*-Blogger from "This one time at Band Camp..." Check out my blog at mybigfatbandgeeklife.blogspot.com

Just catching up on your last two postings. I shared your blog with my 17 year old and she thought you were beautiful and so striking. She thought you could carry the beauty mole piercing. I think you could too; if you just go with the stick on kind. :)
Back to food...I worry about your Drs. advice and not eating...
I eat six small meals a day and average about 80 grams of protein.
Breakfast Options: Sugar Free Instant Carnation Breakast/add 6 tbsp. not fat dry milk powder in there and it really pops the protein up or a Lite Yogurt or a Protein Bar or Scrambled Eggs or Cream of Wheat with skim milk and 6 tbsp. nonfat dry milk powder
for my morning snack about 10 am, I would have one of the above, that I did not have for breakfast
Lunch: Tuna with hardboiled egg chopped in or ground hamburger with cottage cheese and cheese mixed in
Afternoon Snack: Cheese Stick or Almonds
Dinner: Either tuna, ground beef, salmon or 3 potstickers dipped in soy sauce
Evening snack: Sugar Free pudding cup with Lite Cool Whip
Eating more frequently keeps me from being as hungry throughout the day. You need to keep your energy up. You are busy! :)
